It's come time for me to upgrade the exterior or me RX. Gas Door, Fender Strakes, ETC. But I'm having a tough time deciding on if I go with a carbon fiber(will match interior later) look, or a polished black(this one matches the rims). I'm not doing a CF hood or trunk but want to do some CF on the interior. Figured I'd get some input from you guys.

What color is the car? Could you post a pic?

Yeah guess this woulda helped. The CF would be the gas door, fender strakes, and fender vents. I'm putting body color SpeedWing on the back.

Gloss/polished black....In my opinion will look better....

i concur polish black i think cf takes away from the sleek lines of the car unless its fully cf... freaking mean rims btw

Thanks. They're whats pushin me to the black, but I can't find a black fuel door. Guess I'll just have to have it painted.

I would say black, it'll look nice and cost way less than CF for those little parts. I can shop the strakes and fuel door for you. Are you gonna use the Stock fuel door or one that looks like the chrome/bilet ones?

I've found the Strakes and vents, but the only doors I've seen have been chrome or CF. No, I found one black Billet but it was like 280. YEAH RIGHT! If I could a black billet style, with a reasonable price, I'd probably go with that.

How much do the CF Strakes and vents cost and where did you find them? Mebe you could just get a chrome fuel door or regular billet and paint it yourself.

I thought that's where you were gonna get them from. That's the only place that I have seen CF ones. I really don't think $130 for vents is a fair price and really not necessary. pretty good deal on the strakes.

Yeah kinda surprised that the strakes are cheaper than the vents, but the polished black vents would look awsome with the strakes. I think it would contrast with the flat black stock ones. Guess I shoulda assumed that you knew about the site uh?
