so this is what I managed to come upon.

Still breaking it in. but that doesn't mean it's not fun.

Nice.

I am on the wait list to receive my bike. Sucks they made me pay in full to get on the list. I can't wait to get her!!! On top of that I had to have it shipped to another country (Sweden), then I will have it shipped to the USA seeing they won't release it in this market. Gots to be sneaky ;-)

I've ridden the Duke, and the '07 Super Duke, but this bad boy is another kind of beast...

I had a 06 cbr1000rr, sold it early spring last year, they are fun as hell...scary as shit, be sure you get full riding gear, dont be an idiot and try to look cool not wearing a helmet...saw my brother dump his bike, roll about 100ft into a river, knocked out cold...and guess what, no helmet. After seeing him spend 2 weeks in the hospital, I decided to get rid of mine.

Nice bike. Those are a far cry from my 98 F3 I used to have. Even with the performance advancements in the 600s, after riding my R1, I'll never go smaller than a liter bike again. Hoping to get another Yamaha soon.

to go from a car to a bike is a crazy feeling. it's not that you just sit in the car and drive anymore. it's all about using your body to go around corners and feel the bumps while wind fly by you. I like it.

it's a bit crazy because when you give it some juice you expect it to hit you hard. but when I gave it some gas, it was like instant LSD. my vision blurred, instant adrenalin rush, that and I had a WTF just happened moment afterwards.

it's a great time well worth the wait. I'm starting to notice more things on the bike then in the car. a good term for it would asphalt Nirvana. That or I'm getting old and I'm just now noticing it. I'll notice the beauty of the trees and the rolling mountains a lot more now, instead of just another damn road trip.

Well said man....I think it's because of the safety issue, when you're on a bike, you want to be more aware of everything that's going on around you. And in turn, you become more aware of everything.....EVERYTHING lol. The sights, even the smells. One thing that tripped me out when I first started riding was the crazy temperature changes in such small areas. There's this one spot around 108th and Colorado that dips down into a little valley. No matter how hot it was out, it was always really cool in that little area.
