further than the all new COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler. The factory top mounted intercooler can easily be over
worked and over heated due to its smaller size. In return, the intake air temperatures rise causing a loss in power. Replacing
the factory intercooler with the COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler will ensure that your engine is receiving the coolest
possible air, allowing you to enjoy more power that is also much more consistent!

One of the more common issues with a front mount intercooler is turbo lag. Our testing shows our core Inlet pressure
at an average of 15.45 psi and the Outlet pressure at an average of 14.8 psi. That results in an averaged pressure drop of
o n l y 0 . 6 5 p s i , w h i c h i n t u r n p r o d u c e s l i t t l e to no turbo lag at all! We also tested the cooling capacity of our core. With an
ambient temperature of 91 degrees, our Inlet temperature averaged 193 degrees F while our Outlet temperature averaged
9 5 degrees F. This is an averaged temperature drop of an unprecedented 98 degrees F!

Well this decision first rests on whether or not you need a tune (AP) to run the fmic without any problems (and i mean zero problems with AFR's ect ect). Im not in the market to harm my motor.

If you do not need a tune/AP to run the Cobb fmic without problems, it may be worth it over the AP because the power gained by the AP will still be limited by the stock tmic. The AP will yield more power than just the fmic, which is probably no power gain, but the fmic will get you more consistent and constant usable power. The fmic will do away with the MS3's period, ie. its finicky nature with its power. Some days its all there, some days its not.

Its strange i don't like cold days in the MS3. It feels slow when it gets to cold, a nice 60-74 degree day/night seems to be the MS3's sweet spot. But maybe the fmic will change the temp range to something a little more normal... like any temperature

There are times when I like not having a turbo. $1000!!! Aye.

A .65 psi drop across the core is not that bad.

Thank you. I don't understand what some people want from this world. Any drop in psi is not "ideal" but .65 i think is acceptable.
