Despite what i said i still like yours
I agree. I have 8000K's and I think they're a little too blue. I have the Apexcone Premium Race HID Kit. Have had no problems with it.[/b]

If you are going to get HID, get your headlights retrofitted. Without the proper optics, your HID will never look as sharp as OEM HID. Your best bet would be to swap your headlamps with a OEM 3 GT housing. The best HID optics come from S2000 imo, nothing looks better or as sharp as them. The guys at http://www.lightwerkz.net/ will retrofit them for you.

lightwerkz is a great company. I remember when it was just the one guy doing things as a side job for STi owners way back when i was in high school. Wish they would be able to do something for us (3 owners) i would love to take out the orange reflectors and such i just am to afraid to do it myself.

You can get ebay HID kit for dirt cheap. They will be just as good as brand names like Apexcone or McCullough. However, the real difference will in the type of optics used with your HID. Your stock projector will not give you sharp light cutoff.

Ya you can buy cheap stuff like that
but you have to remeber you get what you pay for.. The best deal out there really is going with APEXCONE cause they offer the life time warranty.. I have the 35watt 5000k kit and I have used the warranty before to replace a bad ballast.. Trust me, its a good peice of mind to have that... When I bought mine they were selling at $255 for the kit.. Now you can get them for $185...
And on another note.. Im selling mine if anyones interested :P
Was looking to get $110-$120 or so.. Hit me up if your interested...
These are the H1 35watt 5000k Xtec/Apexcone HID kit..
Reason I say both XTEC and APEXCONE is cause when I bought these the company was XTEC then it shortly aftewards switched over to APEXCONE and when I did my warranty replacement they sent me a new APEXCONE ballast..

I'm a fan of McCulloch. They are a great company and very reliable. You can usually purchase an 8000K kit which is Blue for roughly $250. Ebay is the cheapest I've seen them at.
