I swapped out my wheels last weekend, but wasn't able to add air due to a sleeping baby above the garage. Wow! I sure took a hit on gas mileage! I upped the pressure from 30 to 42 yesterday.

It's a manual. I just can't believe the drop due to tire pressure. I did get 180+ miles before hitting the 1/2 tank mark.

Seems like a big difference just based on pressure.
On another note, I've been looking for another 5, a used one, and it's almost impossible to find one in a 5 speed.
But I guess if I'm gonna do a MS3 swap, doesn't really matter.

What the heck was your hit on gas mileage anyway? All I see is that you bumped the air pressure by 12 lbs.

I usually hit about 100 miles at about 3/4 of a tank... I was at about 85 miles without the air. It's not huge... but I have been coasting on the downhill to work to make up for it. LOL
