This crap is suppose to be good:
ELF/TOTALI've never used it. I just stick to Mobil 1. I've used Red Line in the past. Good stuff but expensive. Both of my transmissions currently have Red Line in them. And both of my engines have Mobil 1 in them.

I need to change my gear oil thinking of using penzoil syncromesh topped off with lucas oil heavy duty stabalizer. A few of the msp guys use it along with others. All seem to be good though. As far as royal purple, redline neo etc. Just heard that redline smells real bad lol.

+1 for Mobil 1 in the internal combustion device and Redline MT-90 for your shifting pleasure...
you won't regret it...

+2 Moble 1 in engine. I've never used redline but am curently using royal purple in the trany. I think next time I will go with redline in trany and rear.

Yet another +1 on Mobil 1 for engine. I currently use redline for the tranny and the turret, but I'd certainly trust the tranny to royal purple if I couldn't get redline.

Boy, now there's a can-o-worms. I'm actually surprised there's a general consensus! I'll be doing a Redline swap in the tranny soon, as well as ATE brake fluid. Are they the best? I dunno, but they seem to come highly recommended.

I use vegetable oil for the engine (preferably Wesson) and any 'ol 90wgt gear oil.
Kidding. Castrol Synthetic for the motor (must be the German one, says it on the bottle it's made in Germany) and Redline MT90 for the tranny.
If I can't find the Castrol, Mobil1 is my choice.

I used Mobil 1 in my Saabs... I had an auto tranny, so not sure that will help.

Yeah, I've been slowly reading it too and it's very informative.
