I wanted to take my car out in this: Image

See if the Exclaims are as bad in the snow as people say. Then the snow went away and the roads are clear again! Meh!

I've driven my Exclaims through some light snow that we had a few weeks ago. They are fine. But mine are nearly at full tread depth. I'm sure as they wear down, they will suck more in the snow. But I don't expect to drive in that much snow with these tires anyway- that's what the other set of tires is for.

Welcome to May! Happy Snow Day! I'd prefer the 80 degree yesterday that we had, though.

It was snowing pretty good this morning in Parker as I left for work.. I'm now in the DTC area, look out the window and its STILL coming down, and starting to stick.. blah.. This will be my first snow storm back in a car without AWD.. not that I'm worried about it, but different.

Going to be back up in the mid 70s by next week... I LOVE Colorado weather, if you dont like it, wait a few minutes.. it will change.

it finally stopped here in DTC... you should be good to go to the game on Saturday, according to the weather it is supposed to be fairly nice

Good to hear the Exclaims aren't totally suck in the snow. These are at full tread depth (brand new), but I'll be looking for snow tires or UHP A/S come October.

Don't wuss out and go with UHP A/S crap. Get yourself some proper winter tires and you'll be happy that you did.

I'll probably get snow tires now. Then when those and the Exclaims are dead, I'll put the Ecsta ASXs on. Those tires are VERY good in the snow, as A/S tires go.

I can right now...but I can't afford to replace two sets in one year. :(

If you are going to get some snow tires don't wait till October get them closer to August since that is when they are being made.
