I've orderd an MS3 GT to be delivered in July. From Japan the cars are shipped to Tacoma WA?

Is there any way that the customer take delivery in WA when they've ordered the car in CO?

tough call, I imagine it has to go to the dealership you bought the car from and be prepped from delivery.

It's not considered delivered until it's at the dealership and they perform the check that they do.

correct, when they arrive at the port in Tacoma WA they they then add any accessiories that was added to the car and then put on a rail truck. What did you order and from where?

I ordered the Crystal White Pearl Mica. I'm mildly nervous about this decision but.........after seeing one in CWPM I was impressed.

Yeah, I like that. The white does lend itself to accent color well. The wheels, are those lighter than the 30lb OE's. I am on the search for some winter wheel/tire combos (stock wheels w/ Blazak). What do you suggest?

The dealer states that if I do have an additional set, the tire diameter must be within Mazda spec for the warranty to remain valid.

What dealer are you buying it from? Also don't worry about that tire shit its not true. I'm ran 235/45/18's when stocks are 215/45/18's.

Also my wheels are 19.5lbs each.

Sill-Terhar Mazda, A 235 footprint doesn't effect warranty, because they're 45-18's. But..if one were to get 16 or 17" rims w/ snows, the "45" would have to go to 60 and that is where this dia vs warranty question lies. Do you think that's an issue?

Eh there's plenty of people who have done it your biggest issue will be clearing the calipers going that small its possible but hard.

I plan to take the stock 'heavies', put snows on and buy 'lights' and remount the stock tires for now

Changing tire size and voiding warranty is total bullshit.

Changing tire dia is the warranty issue, and the excuse is that the odometer reading will be innaccurate due to rolling diameter and he (sales manager) said that most warranty issues occur at or near rhe end of the 3yr/36k so.......Mazda has issues with this change according to sales manager.
I am going to Wash state when I get the car, mid summer and snow isn't in the picture but I do have to consider this in Sept.

I get the impression that Sill-Terhar isn't the best dealership to deal with. True?
