OK, there's nowhere to mount a front license plate on my Speed6. Any ideas on what the HELL to do? I don't need to get pulled for something silly like that....

You can get license plate mounting kits of the auto store. It comes with 2 or 4 plastic plugs that you put in the front bumper cover that accept screws. I did it on my Protege. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't put it in the middle, I go with it off on one side or the other.

That's an idea. Or maybe one of those flip-down ones. LOL.

Just put it on the windsheild. I've never ever gotten pulled over for that. And all the other times I got pulled over for nothing, or into an accident no cop has ever given me a ticket or mentioned anytihng about it. only thing you have to watch for is the public parking nazis. They will most likely get you. Got hit by them twice. Both dropped though. Wnt to the magistrate both time.

1st time - The car didn't come with any brackets or anything to mount it on from the dealr. Kinda like a corvette.

2nd time - I just go the car back from the body shop and havn't had time to put the brackets on.

Yeah, thought about the windshield. Or maybe getting a replica one and zip-tying it to the grille. LOL

yeah there are always excuses you can give to get away from tickets for no front plate, but most of the time they have better things to do then pull you over for it..

Windshield is just as illegal as no front plate at all, and attracts MORE attention.

I laugh at every car I see with a plate in the front window, because not only are they breaking the front plate requirement law, they are making it more obvious.

I see people get ticketed for it EVERY day. I work downtown, and meter maids issue no front plate tickets to anyone who doesn't have it mounted in the right spot.

To add, I do not run a front plate on any of my cars. Nor will I ever.
