I know this post is old so maybe some of you have changed your mind... You guys really (still) don't like them? I don't think they look that bad. I'm actually thinking about getting one because I always get sh*t on the side of my car right after I wash/wax it. My car is white so you can see all the dirt that get kicked up from the wheels. I think these would help.

I really don't think they look bad at all. It adds a little "meat" to the car, I think.

I like the mud flaps that don't stick out as far. My RX has a full set of factory mud flaps on it and they look good.

I think they look good, will prob get some type of mud flaps for mine at some point.. I'm all about not kicking up crap that'll damage/dirtify my car and others... If you like them, get them, don't worry about people's opinion...

It's all about which thing you'd rather degrade the looks of your car to me heh. A little dirt that will wash right off, or the mudflaps that will always make it look bad.

Just my opinion. If you like them, put them on and who cares what anyone else thinks.

I bought these for my old WRX just to try them out, they looked bad, even on a Subaru. Just my opinion though, I wash my car enough not to have to worry about mud or dirt on the car. They were a pretty easy install though and easy to remove if you decide against the look.

Apparently, I changed my mind on these. I posted this back in 2008 and I bought a set of the Rally Armor universal flaps sometime in early 2010 (I ran them for the last part of the 2009/2010 snowy season). I took them off when I pulled the winter wheels/tires off.

They look kinda ugly. But they work. They keep the sides and back of the car MUCH cleaner, but I noticed my garage floor would be TONS dirtier after I brought home a snow covered car with the mud flaps vs without the mud flaps.

I sold my Protege- but I still have these laying around. They are drilled for a Protege but would probably work for anything. I'd let them go cheap. Like $10. The universals cost $25 shipped.

And I ordered a set for my wife's VUE. Again, I plan on only running them with the winter wheels/tires.
