So this tank of gas I'm working on now is working out great. I'm at like 320 miles and I've still got about 3/8 tank left (according to the gauge). Normally at 320 miles, the low fuel light is on and the needle is in the E.

Good thing I guess since gas is pretty damn expensive right now.

Nice, I presume you didn't have much of a lead foot on those 320 miles!
When my fuel tank is maxed out, with gasoline dripping out of the gas cap, I can manage to push 400-420 miles with one tank. I filled my little Acura with a little over 15 gallons of gasoline, despite its tank being rated for 13.2 gal.

With my Geo Metro, I was averaging nearly 500 miles a tank. And that little sucker would only take ten bucks to refill. (10gals x 99c/gal of regular octane back then).

I do have alot of highway miles on this tank- trip to Fort Collins and back. But usually my car at interstate speeds gets in the low 20s for mileage. I have been taking it fairly easy on the throttle.

Yeah...I saw him up there. Tried to get him to stop. I think he was videotaping when we drove past. Want to see if he'll come off that footage...I'd like to see it.

Yeah I've got the footage on DVD. We were at Boulder Falls when I was filming you guys. I had to hand over my little daughter real quick to start filming. I told my Fiance that I wanted to follow you guys to Nederland but we had other things to do. Lol

Very nice mileage! We made about a 60-mile round trip this weekend and I managed to eek out almost 21 MPG I think. Since most of it was city driving, that's pretty dang good! I just shift at 3000 RPM and only use the boost when I need it.

Does anyone else use the MPG calculator on the MS3? And if so, has anyone tested out the accuracy of it? Mine shows around 27.0-27.2 MPG.

I wish I could get mileage like that lol.... that's awesome Tom! I usually only get around 270-280 miles per tank before the gas light comes on, which usually equates to around 20-22mpg or so.

Hey dommo_g, where do you guys set up meets? Do you guys have a local forum or something?

I had 230 miles (250 Hwy) on my last tank... before the 1/2 mark. Then I went back to puttin' around.

After switching back to my summer tires my gas mialage went form 19 to 22 and now my average is about 24-25 and if I did not have such a lead foot I could probably get even better than that but I love the feel of boost too much :20ac3f40:
