Just initial impressions of a side by side comparo. I personally think the DNP is better, but I like the Lifetime Warranty of the PG.....hmmmmmm.

I have ordered the PG manifold and when deciding I went back and forth on whether or not to get the DNP or the PG.

The DNP is heavier, thicker, and has more bracing, but only has a one year warranty.

The PG isn't as heavy or have as much bracing, but comes with a lifetime warranty, even if you get it coated or heat wrapped. The fitment issue bugged me a little bit, but Ken at PG is taking care of that with the new batch of manifolds comming out, as well as footing the bill to fix/retrofit the existing manifolds.

Basically I chose the PG mani because of their community support, customer service, and the lifetime warranty. I have no experience dealing with DNP, but have heard nothing but good things about Ken and the guys at PG.

Protege Garage is awesome. I've spent lots of money with Ken and have been extremely happy with everything I've bought. I have more stuff to buy from there in the future.

I thought we could bolt the street unit snail (GT 30) to our stock manifold?

Well? Please tellme if I'm wrong because I amgoing to have to change my "soon to be added to my car" list.

Or are those manifolds a better design, thicker, lighter? I haven't read up on them yet so I'm ignorant at this point.

Yes, the ATP kits (GT3071/76r) will bolt on to our stock manifold. However, the stock mani won't spool those bigger turbos nearly as quick as these upgraded, equal-length, high-flow manis will.

I just browsed the other post for the drive. Depending on the time, I should be up for it. My springs and test pipe should be on tomorrow, so I'd like to try it all out. If you can point me to the post with the what/where/when info (or modify your 1st post to include such details), I'll decide tonight :)

I'll go, as long as the woman doesn't mind listening to Nirvana the whole way. Gotta pay tribute to Kurt on his day!

You doing the work? I die for doing this crap. I'd be more than happy to do it/help ya? Save the pennies that you'd pay a shop, plus you'll know it's done right because it will be by your own paws. I have every tool needed too. Just a thought Rich.
