My car has always had the infamous hesitation that speed 6's are known for. If youve never had it, it usually hits in 2nd or 3rd while accelerating. Nothing major, just a little fumble in the rpm's...always reminded me of a detonation issue I had in my old camaro. Anyways, I read a post on 6club that helped me out.. Others have said it works, and some say it doesnt. It did with mine, and it was really easy.

I took the coil plugs off, and stretched the middle of the spring out about an extra inch. This gives a more solid contact to the plug. Also, my tops of my plugs had shit all over them, wasnt smoothe at all, so I removed them and sanded the tops to bare metal.

Just went for a drive to get lunch, and the hesitation was gone, and that its great news for me..

Took all of 10 minutes, if you have the hesitation, its worth a try..

so you just cleaned the coils eh? and yours were already dirty? I would assume this applies to all 6's not just the speed6?

yes, it is supposed to work on all 6's...
i cleaned the top of the plugs, not the coils.. and stretched the springs in the coil packs
