I have discovered that my turbo waste gate is stuck open ... at least I think it is. I can't get past 7 psi under any circumstances and in 1st and 2nd gears I'm basically at zero psi. I can actually hear what sounds like an air leak when I accelerate hard. Has anyone had this problem as well? I've checked other sources of leakage such as intercooler tubes and BOV. They are fine.

I'm talking about the internal waste gate inside the turbo itself. Not the external waste gate which would be my TurboXS bypass valve. I checked it .....and it is fine.
If the turbo waste gate is stuck wide open, the turbo should not be able to spool at all. This is what I'm experiencing. I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this problem?

I'd say PM No-Coast-Punk, he's our Revolutions Performance contact.

No... I'm the one that needs to apologize. It did end up being the TurboXS bypass valve (piece of junk). It was stuck wide open. It was fine when I first checked it a week ago. I think it was starting to stick and then finally just stayed wide open. That thing caused me a week of no sleep. I've gone back to the stock bypass for now and the car runs great. Thanks to anyone that tried to help.

Glad that you got it figured out. You gonna call Turbo XS or buy another BPV? I have an HKS SSQV Bov along with some other members here and love it!

First I'm going to call TurboXS and tell them their product sucks. Then I'm going to buy another BPV. I've heard good things about the Forge BPV. I know the HKS is a good BOV but I think I prefer to recirculate back into the intake. I don't think it makes much difference in performance either way. I've heard people swear by both methods. It seems to be personal preference and sound.

Actually all of the members running the HKS are running full recirculation. All you have to do is take out the tiny plastic VTA thing it comes with and slid your recirculation tube thing onto the HKS and bam, you got yourself a BPV not annoying gay VTA BOV. Jack, Josh, Eric, Lee all run their HKS in recirculation and it sounds great.
Glad to hear you got it all sorted out and that it wasn't the turbos waste gate after all.

Man, I just saw this thread, and that is the first thing I would have told you to check... the pistons on the inside of TXS' BPV/BOV's seem to have a problem with sticking open, routing all air back into your intake tract. I know Jake (Spatty) actually had the same problem... TXS replaced his BPV... and it happened again to the new valve they sent him... so they replaced it again with their hybrid valve, and to my knowledge, it hasn't happened since.
To avoid future issues, I would stick with either a tried and true HKS valve, or you could just do the same thing I did, save yourself some cash and run a modded 1G DSM valve (crushed). It worked GREAT for me when I still had a Speed 6.
