As for the top, you might be able to get an upholstery shop to replace just the window if the rest of the top is in good shape, but they quoted me like $300-400 to do it because they'd have to remove the top, and that is getting into the territory of a new top with glass window. I paid around $600 for my Robbins top with rain rail, glass window, and fold-down flap and I couldn't be happier with it. I decided to pay a pro to install it since I didn't want to mess it up and have it leak on me. Installation was about $375. Most expensive thing I've done to the car including swapping the motor and tranny, but it's a quality top that should last me a long time, and I can see out of it perfectly instead of having that blurry effect from the plastic window.
Yeah, the headlight was flapping all the way closed (only driver side that is bent). I've been considering just spending the extra cash on the flush mounted headlights to avoid dealing with pop-up problems, but when I came to a stop, it would no longer stay up. The motor for it really is shot, so no night driving for me until I can get it fixed haha!
Honestly, I don't mind running a plastic rear window, so I'm going to try and not spend too much cash on another soft top. I just need to be able to see out of it haha! In truth, there are quite a few odds and ends I plan on replacing on this car, so I'm not going to spend too much cash on a top, since ultimately, I just want this thing to be a track duty car haha.
