Are you talking the R8 itself or this razor thing? The standard R8 that you can buy at an audi dealer is the same 4.2L NA V8 in the RS4; same bhp and all. As for the razor i don't know what power plant its using.
Edit: did a very small amount of research and the PPL R8 razor uses the same V8. They just add some hp mods, exhaust ect.
isnt it a v10 twin turbo?[/b]

Audi designed it that way. what they did was put in the Smart AWD system that senses traction loss and all. but in a way so you wouldn't get understeer. so no more then 1/3 of total power to the front.
personally I would rather have the P2 Drivetrain, it's like a brain for your car when your not using yours!
Great car the R8 is! But i have to say it is one of the most RWD bias AWD systems. I saw a video of one doing some donuts and man it appeared to be RWD. Just what i observed.[/b]

mmmm high HP, good gas mileage. would be funny to hear in the cold, sound like a f-250 out of a small car. the thing already sounds like a jet at high revs
It should have the V10 TDI they use in the American LeMans cars!! Then it would be "Dead Sexy!"[/b]

If you get a chance over the summer, watch one or some of an American LeMans race. Those Audi prototype cars the the TDI sound nothing like DriverReturnsOnFoot(read the caps backwards). They sounds bad ass. And besides, the F-250 I had made 946 pounds of torque on the dyno, so a little rattling might not be so bad...

I watched the coverage on speed channel, they had "the sound of speed" with the r10, most of the sound came the tires flying over the payment and the air pushing the car down. the only time you heard the v-10 diesel was onced it passed even then it sounded like it was miles away.
with the r10, people would look at you and think your driving an electric car, or your cars broken. theres a bit of difference between a ford diesel and something that soft. with the ford diesel you could make people turn away just by reving, that or the black cloud of diesel love would eat every car near you.
lol a rs4 with a supercharger, audi just screams eledrly to me. I would love to see some sixty year old tear ass in one. I know I would buy one if I saw it. would be a life changing experiance
I can see it now... "audi show those punk ass kids who owns the streets." or " Audi... leaving skid marks on the road and in your pants."
