Bummer man. I've noticed the roads in HR are slippery as shit when it's snowing. Especially right there at Broadway and Lucent.

I ate my dinner at 8pm...it was a bit cold tho...

need to get this all sorted out with insurance and collision center,etc.

HR roads are shitty all the time, dry, wet, icy, snowy you name it....

Yes the car did an excellent job protecting me...which is good.

Remember, there are only 2 positions for throttle in a rental car: pinned to the firewall and pinned to the firewall using the hand brake to modulate speed.

Glad you are all right.

I had a major accident years ago while driving my mom's minivan.
I was pretty much swiped away by a bunch of kids who ran a red light. The minivan rolled a couple times and ejected me (I was not wearing any seatbelt). Fortunately I only had a few bruises, but both cars were totaled beyond belief.

When the cops came to the scene, their first words were: "All right, who's dead?"

We were lucky sonovabitches.
