The roof line is like the Coupe show car from some time ago, I like that. I dislike the Kamm tail on this one, though.

I like those models, but honestly, I would prefer to see some sort of hatchback like the BMW Z3 had. Allows for more rigidity, aerodynamics, and some room for groceries if needed.

But when you consider a factory hardtop in decent shape starts around $1,000 used, that may not be a bad price...

That Miata Coupe is sexy! I want to import one lol.

I honestly don't think it looks very good. It's trying and failing to deliver a good looking product. I wouldn't go for it myself. I would say just get a factory hardtop.

my thought is id love to eventually do a 13b or 20b swap, and do the fastback, and Id have to take the mx-5 badge and the rx-7 badge and cut them up and piece them together to make an RX-5
its personally how i think the miata should have been in the first place but thats just me I want a light tossable roadster that rev's for days

A 13b t2 or an rew should be more than enough to accomidate your power needs. A 20b would just be overkill though I would like to see a 20b miata. Shit would be ill

I wish there were emblems that said "rotary engine". I would put one on my rx7 :D

I saw a 20b Miata at SevenStock a few years ago. it was beastly. But I agree that's overkill. The guy had to run huge drag radials just to go forward.

I've always thought a 13b-rew in a Miata running the sequential twins pushing about 325-350rwhp would be a real, real fun car and just about the perfect combination.

powerneeds i can do with a build on the 4cyl, its more of the unique factor that id love.
if i went through with the swap it would be a ITB 20b, no turbos just for the super linear powerband,
