Yep, I wasn't going to compete anyway but now I'm just gonna have to hide my car in some dark corner.

Probasbly is. I wanted to buy new side skirts and wanted to get the graphics off. Now I have a little funding boost to get both done @ the same time and sooner than planned. Might as well do it now and pay for half the job out of pocket instead of wait till later and pay for all the graphics to be taken care of.

Surrprisingly I wasn't that upset that I got hit. I felt bad for my baby and was sorta angry at the guy but it's been hit so many times by other people that I'm just used to it. My baby is street tough and will be fine.

Yeah. I'm jsut glad he had insurance and was cool. I had a hit and run and I chased the guy down. He had no insurance and a warrant so he hoped back in his car and took off again. He had passed a red light and I hit him.

And in January some guy backed up into the 8, the one day I parked it in front of the house for the afternoon and well... his No name based in texas insurance company only paid for $300 worth of damage on my bumper and and kept denying that the stress cracks all where he hit me are from him. My lawyer has contacted the insurance company several times and yesterday advisd me to take the guy to small claims court for the rest of the money that willl be required to fix the front bumper.
Huzer wrote:Geez, sorry to see that. I'm still fighting my neighbor, although my insurance company says it'll be an easy to win case, and I just found out last night that I have a witness. He said he'd testify if I needed him to do so.

That's cool that you have a witness to it. Hope yours gets all settled. It sucks big time when people play the blame game for no reason but to save their own necks.

I hope the guy doesn't flake on you. I got hit a couple weeks ago in my passport. The guy was totally cool, even apologized for hitting me. Then he lied to his insuracne and claimed I hit him. I of course took pictures of the damage. It very clear he hit me, but progressive has denied my claim. So my car is not getting fixed unless something changes. :(

Everything is cool. no flaking. He called his insurance right on the spot. We both talked to them and they called later that day. Adjuster came out to see the car yesterday and the check is in the mail.
