Potential Recall - HKS Limited Edition Black BOV

Spoke to HKS rep this morning and they told me they don't expect to have new fitments for 1-2 months!!! They told me I have 4 options: machine the cover 1mm, machine the fitment 1mm, use their 29 mm fitment, use their 19 mm fitment.
And you all thought the C-clip install was a PITA....any ideas?

Sorry to hear about the bump in the road. Sounds like you're slowly getting it resovled. As mention above kinda weird considering its the same SSQV just a different color. Maybe the paint/coating is a 1mm thinner/thicker.

Spoke to Kyle at StreetUnit again today. He said after they notified HKS of my complaint, HKS in fact discovered there is a problem. I got a "congratulations you're the first person in the country to discover the recirc fitting for these limited editions don't fit" So I asked if HKS was going to send me a prize or something (had to be a smartass right?) HKS is recalling all the fittings as they are 1mm to large and sending out new one's that will fit.
Seems weird that with all the MS3 folks I hear are buying these, nobody is running them recirc to have found this out?[/b]

Not kinda weird. Most of you Mazda owners are ricers and want the "Pssshhh" sounds. LOL! (Coming from the guy who owns a SSQV set-up for VTA. LOL )

I got my black HKS installed last week, Tommy at Street Concepts had to machine the fitting. It took him about 5 minutes to do and is working good.
