FYI, my Speed6 threw a CEL this weekend and had it checked out this morning. Lean mix warning error resulting from low fuel pressure, they are following this TSB procedure. I was not driving hard when this occurred and did not experience any odd running characteristics.

The car did have an inconsistent idle and what I would describe as inconsistent power in 2nd and 3rd between 3k and 4.5k RPM while under load and the turbo spun up.

Currently, the replacement pump is on order. I will post more if I learn anything else.[/b]

Can you post on whether your repair fixed the problem, my MS6 has a rough idle when warm drops to like 650rpm and then back up to 900rpm consistantly at a stop light. When cold idles perfect at like 800rpm. I am to seeing a power lull in the 2nd and 3rd pull, can hear the turbo screaming just not feeling it.....Thanks for your input........G

It did fix the problem and it's made a big difference, the car is smooth all the way through the RPM range now. Before it was replaced I noticed the problem in 3rd the most, the car often felt jerky like you were short shifting but that's no longer the case. Good luck, I hope it works for your car as well.

You see a drop in power due to the pump running out of fule due to its inefficiency. So what happens is the sensor after the fuel pump tells the computer to close the throttle plate. That is were the power lose comes from just some info I thought I would put out there.
