I received Autoweek yesterday, but they don't have the story online as of yet. The car looks much better in the AW pictures. They claimed P&M will make them for anyone who can write the $225,000 check (that included the price of your new Z06). But you have to get the whole car, they aren't offering any off the shelf parts, just a completely built C6RS.
Better site, as Motor Trend blows.

Actually, due to an incredibly efficient torque curve and tall gears, Vette's don't get that bad of gas mileage... especially not on the freeway, as a matter of fact, the new 430hp horsepower C6 Corvette is rated at getting slightly better freeway mileage than my STI & former Speed6 (26mpg for the Vette vs 25mpg for the STI & Speed6). The broad torque curve of the LS-series pushrod motors allows them to spin extremely low RPM on the freeway without lugging the motor, enabling them to use tall gears. IMO, I would rather have a LS-series V8 over a turbo 4.... if only someone made a V8 powered, AWD sports car chassis for an affordable price... like an affordable Audi RS 4.
that looks photoshopped, but still a sweet looking car. So you probably get about 8 mpg?
The corvette is one of the few domestics I would take, not really a family cruiser tho... [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

I seem to recall reading about that somewhere, but 90% of my driving is in the city and with my lead foot I would
be lucky if I got 8mpg. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]

That was my first thought when I saw the pic. But it does look nice. I would drive one.

there's a reason why I can't have anything larger than a 2.3 and it has to be N/A [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]
