Ground Wire System

This is probably going to be a noob question.

Does it matter where you connect the grounding points or are there some suggestions on where the grounding points should go?

Are you talking about the system that has a plate on the battery terminal with about 6 wires coming off of it?

Use a DMM and measure out the various points on the chassis. A ground is 0 ohms. If you connect a ground wire to one with more than 0.2ohms or so it will be bad

Advice taken, going out to buy a DMM today.

You will also want to ground right to the motor.

I would try to ground it somewhere right to the motor (somewhere right in the head or block) or maybe the intake.

Its cheaper to make your own kit.. When I had my 6 I did it for less than $25 using 4gauge power wire and gold ring terminals. And with doing this your able to ground any point on the engine you want cause you make your own lenght of wire instead of the pre measured wires that come in the Ground kit your wanting to buy
