Production Numbers on MS6 and MS3

Hey, folks. I read somewhere that there were only a total of 13K MS6s produced worldwide, and that only 7500 made it to the US. Also read that 15K MS3s have been imported to the US, and that on either vehicle, the last four numbers of the VIN are your vehicles production #.

Can anyone confirm or refute any of that?

I guess it depends on the year. Mazda sold 6,000+ MS6's in 2007 (US), and 5,000 in 2006. They sold 3,600 MS3's in 2007 and 1,069 in 2006. Those were the US sales numbers I found.

Wow. THose differ widely from what I saw on the MS3. About right on the MS6, but I know I see a LOT more MS3s around than I do MS6s. Interesting...wonder if MazdaUSA might tell me....

I only posted the 2 years I could find. (They are US-only)

The MS3 #'s should be higher, as it is still produced.
