And the Speed is gone.

Postby Rich » Fri May 29, 2009 9:14

Yep, I sold it. It was a great car and fun, but not mod friendly at all, and just too expensive. I sold it to McCloskey Motors in the Springs, they hooked me up with a '06 Jeep Rubicon.

I'm sure I'll still lurk around, and meet up with people downtown from time to time :)

Ahh... this makes me sad for the Speed6 but I am happy that you are happy with the new Jeep. I do hope you come around once and a while though for sure! You are just too much fun and you can always win at pool when you play me- and you know that's fun! :)

Ugh, I want to SC it bad....but not for at least 3 years (when the warranty is up). I'll still hang out for sure.

Sorry to see the MS6 go, but I understand the allure of the Wrangler. I almost ended up in a Wrangler Unlimited before the MS6 fell in my lap. Now we have the Grand Cherokee and I LOVE having something offroad capable in the family again. It isn't a Rubicon, but it'll get through the snow!

I hope:) and I too have been toying with the idea of doing the same........we will see what I think after summer:cool:

I had to make up about 2k, which I rolled into the Jeep. Still, I'm saving $263/month over the Speed. I got new tires for the Jeep and a 3/36k warranty with the deal as well.

If you wanted a vehicle that was more mod friendly, a Jeep is certainly a step in the right direction.
