So as many of you probably witnessed first hand, there was a huge wind storm that came through colorado on monday. My MS 6 gets to be parked outside all the time in front of the house. The wind was blowing toward my car over the top of my house. So I go outside to start my car for work on tuesday morning and my car has several spots where it was hit by shingles that ripped off the roof of my house. I didnt have time to do anything with it then so i was pissed all day thinking about it. I go outside after work and see it in the day light and the car has tar, dirt and junk in about 25 spots where it was hit on the right side, roof and hood. So i go home and spend 3 hours cleaning, polishing, and buffing it to try and get what I can off. I got most of it off but there is several still pits and scratches in the paint. I take the car to Rocky Mountain Paint and Body in Longmont for an estimate. They said it would be about $2,500 to fix the scratches and pits. Although my insurance will cover it, I am still out my deductible and the cost of a rental car.
Thats my story of me hating wind.
