my honest opinion of it is...eh.

its great from the standpoint of having fun and overly pleasing sponsors. But as far as driving skill goes, its really doesn't prove what he can do. Its obviously not a seamless run. You can see plenty of fresh tire marks. Plus who goes to practice and only makes one run? Seems kinda moot for the use of the word. Yea i know he can drive better than i, but it helps to have nearly unlimited funding. Then again, his WRC excursions have sort of "put him in his place" as it were.

This video was called "gymkhana PRACTICE" was it not? And they even showed the 3 stacks of extra tires that we assume he burned up while practicing. I'm so tired of "it wasn't one take...." BS everyone keeps throwing around (yes- this video has been posted and emailed around about a zillion times since it came out). Not a single one of the nay-sayers could even drive well enough to make the blooper reel from this.

+1.

The skill and timing to pull of some of those moves is incredible.

I did not say i didn't like the video for it's entertainment value. I just said i wasn't impressed.

at the same time if its "some of the best driving i've ever seen" then you need to start seeing more.

Even his "record jump" thing they did with an engineered ramp and all that is questionable. Marco Martin unofficially went 7 feet farther ON STAGE. He just has good promo to push his name.

Dude....give me examples of someone beating the fuck out of a car and a track that's so damn awesome that it makes you completely unimpressed by Ken Brock in this video.

The only way someone could be unimpressed is if they did something way better themselves....and I don't see many Low Impedance driving vids out there right now.

But I could be wrong.
