So, i painted my car, black. i like it, no clear on though. my stupid friend messed up the hood a little, but i guess that means i need a carbon fiber one right? haha, anyways, heres some pics. also, anyone know if you can fix a discolored CF hood, or do you just paint it?

doesnt the carbon fiber fade no matter what after time?... maybe you can re clear it. or just paint it... or vinyl

The clear may not adhere to the CF. I think your best bet is to give it a new coat of the resin that bonds it together.

the resin is thick tho isn't it.. he could remove the clearcoat without damaging the resin?
