<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Rich @ Aug 13 2008, 10:20 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div>
I asked this awhile back and hoping this time there will be some responses.......Come on all don't keep it a secret. I have read some speeds going a step colder with success, but would like to hear from others about there experiences. I will keep my eye on this.....
Well I know some of you have swapped the spark plugs in your Speeds for something different. I'm considering doing the same, mainly due to the stutter I get between 2nd and 3rd in WOT. I need some suggestions on a brand, hotter or colder spark, gap, etc. Links would be very appreciatedThanks!

I have had good success with the NGK one step colder plugs in my speed, part #LTR7IX-11. I also stretched the coil springs during install, and it helped for quite a while. The stuttering didnt fully go away though until I upgraded the fuel pump.
Something I came across which makes me think the stuttering issue has something to do with the intake or MAF;
last week I installed my cai again, rather than the sri, because I was getting really hot temp readings from the intake. I finished my reinstall, and the stuttering all of a sudden came back again, along with a much bigger turbo lag. Granted, I had temps about 25 degrees cooler at the intake, but it ran much worse. So, its back to sri. No stutter, no lag, faster, and hotter!!!

I've ordered the NGK LTR7IX-11 from http://www.clubplug.net. I'm gonna gap at .034 and do the coil spring stretch while I'm at it. Maybe with winter coming up I'll go SRI around September (if I'm still here
