I'm sure you have heard of the Capro T1, which is one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world. come on it's mocked after a F-1 car and they put it on the road. and apparently the London P.D just needed that extra edge on speeders.

if you want to see the Caparo In action cliks, down below
Caparo T1

and to see what the cops get as a "tool" to stop speeders it is down as well
best cop car ever...

That's funny, because if you ever watch a British police chase, the cops are required to weigh the possibility of damage to their car in deciding whether or not to pursue. That'd be some EXPENSIVE damage. And definitely no pit maneuvers.

The last time I drove in London... a Bobby with a stick could have caught me.

I heard over in London they will buy brand new police cars and wont even drive aggressively with them to avoid damaging their new cars. kind of defeats the purpose of putting fear into the hearts of criminals. "o noes the cops are right on us what are we to do. o wait they will politely ask us to pull over that's right."
unlike here in the states where the cop will hit you and sue you for the damages.
