I have been really thinking about adding an Accusump to my engine in the passed few days. Alot of oiling topics keep popping up about the Protege.

So, Tom what did you come up with? I have been looking online and it appers that Steetunit has a good deal on both the water pump and oil pump. I was going to get both of these and replace them on the new engine. Do you think i need to consider the kit from MP3 Racer (other forum)?

Well i finally got done reading all 11 pages on that kit and i think i am going to skip on his kit. After talking with my buddy (Doggk1) considering i am getting a less than 30K miles on an engine sent from protegegarge i will just replace the oil pump with a new one from streetunit. An engine that is tunned up with a new pump should hold out for a while. Even if it doesn't and i am back to square one, i might be in better position to create a race car instead of a daily driver.

What do you think Tom?

Sounds like a plan to me.
