MAC pissed me off. They were tuning my car and dicked around with the throttle body settings after I spent 3 hours the night before adjusting it, and they messed up the tune so bad we had to tow start the car and then it kept dying on the drive back down here. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever let anyone at MAC touch my car again.
The temptation has always been there, but after years of driving the car with the same mods it just feels slow and has lost its fun.
That is a very worrying story about MAC.. I guess I better start studying up on what the safe calibrations I should aim for when tuning.

OP what are the specs on the DP dimension wise? And what bar are your FP internals rated up to?
Copied from ATP: "Stainless, catless, high flow, Vband disconnect at turbo for modular use and future expansion. Comes with v-band module for stock turbo. Downpipe is fully compatible with ATP/Garrett ball bearing turbo upgrades. Direct bolt up to stock exhaust 2 bolt flange on the rear. Unit also has extra 02 bung for wideband tuning and plug included. All CNC machined flanges, 304 stainless tubing, and TIG welded construction."
I'm not sure what bar these FP internals are good for.
I know that my stock fuel pump only only flows 1600 psi max from old dataloggs... but this new one will flow 1800+ easily so I should never have a problem getting enough fuel to the camber.

That any hopes of passing emissions testing will be long-gone, and B.) That I may create a "smoky turbo" problem, because of the inherent change in immediate backpressure.
For that matter, I'm a little freaked out that just my Test Pipe is going to fail me, come next emissions test time. We shall see!...
You and I actually have nearly the exact same mods.
A ) I just passed emissions last month without taking any mod off the car.
B ) I have a couple of different smokey turbo solution's bookmarked on MSF that I will try if I run into problems... Still, I don't expect the turbo to live long while being fully bolted, which is part of the reason for me going with ATP so I can reuse some parts.
