cutting carbon fiber

so, has anyone cut carbon fiber before?

I think GR8 did some cf work for a custom dash-thingy once.... maybe ask him

I cut it all the time working on molded RC Sailplanes. Is it cf cloth or a finished part? CF cloth you can cut with good scissors, a finished part you can usually cut with a Dremel and a good cutting wheel. Something super heavy, you might need a bandsaw.

i use this. you can get one at homedepot or hobby lobby. treat the cf like plexiglass then use a blade or scissors to cut the remaining weave if there are some left. also its a little easier if its warm.
