Yea it sucks I didn't have more time to part out. I didn't seriously think it was going to happen until it happened lol.
Mikedubs wrote:Did you feel you were just hitting the limits of what you can do with the MS3?
Not so much the MS3 specifically, but what I wanted to do with a FWD in general. I thought about going big turbo since I could easily have gotten 75-100 more hp out of that car with more mods, but I was already having traction issues with 250whp and it was very frustrating. I actually said if I ever got rid of my SRT-4 that my next fast car would not be FWD but I didn't listen to myself and got the MS3. So when the opportunity came along to get a faster car that wasn't FWD and also handles really well, I had to jump on it.
chickenwafer wrote:That's a great color too man. Is that a back up camera in the rear view mirror? Pretty kickass.
What plans do you have for it?
Yes it is a backup camera. Not an option I would have sought out deliberately but cool nonetheless. It had the options I wanted which were the Brembo Package, HIDs, 3.55 gears (would have liked 3.73s but 3.55s are ok too), and the Kona Blue color with black leather. The heated seats and backup camera were just icing on the cake. Plans in the next 6 months or so are intake (which requires a tune since most of them are 4 1/4" MAF tubes instead of the stock 3") and some kind of exhaust. I'm not going to go too crazy on this one so early like I did on the MS3. Might get a blower way down the road. I plan on keeping this car a long time.

I will definitely be hitting the dragstrip this summer. Hopefully some road course time too at HPR or PPIR or something.

I would look into joining Colorado Horsepower Junkies. There are a ton of mustang guys over there and a bunch that actually know what they are talking about.

Haha, I do. Very much so. With their "ADP" mark-up, that car is literally twice what I paid for mine.

I really like that suspension package. That seems like a really good deal considering all that you get. I already have the Brembo brake package with 14" vented rotors. I will be getting some sort of full catback fairly soon, and I kind of like my stock spoiler.
That Roushcharger is definitely in the plan down the road. If you get the "calibrated" one and have it installed by the dealer, you get 3 years/36,000 mile warranty from Roush.
