iirc the intake for a 3 will not fit a 6 and vice versa.
The 3 intake is like an upside down J where and 6
intake like a really lazy s. I am sure if you google
pics of both you will see what i mean.

You can always just do the air box mod where you just
remove the resonator from your car. You normally
have to remove this anyways for a CAI install.
This mod is free and there isn't the stutter you get
with a CAI from a stop nor do you lose your low end torque.

I had a CAI in my 6i but decided to remove it and just do
the airbox mod. Could've saved a few hundred bucks...sigh.
Oh and the intake, like the car are long gone in case you were wondering.

Dammit!!!

Maybe I'll just nix the resonator then. I need better airflow for sure.

removing the resonator will do that. It opens up the airflow quite a bit.
It also makes the car a little louder especially during WOT.

I'll work on that this weekend... with some supervision.

This is a SRI not a cold air intake where the tube goes everywhere. As long as your inlet diameter is big enough after you remove the airbox so that the SRI can fit in there it should be OK. Well, it's up to you. Let me know.

Oh I thought it was a CAI. I know my inlet diameter is bigger than that of a Speed3... but I don't know how big.
