Colorado Springs Meet/Cruise 10-04-09
A bunch of us met up at Sonic in Colorado Springs. I felt a little out of place as the only non-rotary, heh. http://www.erod550.com/images/100409meet/PICT0063.JPG http://www.erod550.com/images/100409meet/PICT0064.JPG http://www.erod550.com/images/100409meet/PICT0065.JPG http://www.erod550.com/images...

Sorry I bailed early. Wife started to get a migraine so we wanted to head back in case it got worse. She was getting a little car sick through the twisties too so that's why I backed off a bit. I'm definitely glad I went with the performance winter tires. They are tons better on dry pavement than th...

In Colorado, you're only going to find people that have experience with tuning an AP. I don't know of anyone in the state that has had their speed3 or speed6 tuned. Any place that has a strong presence in th subie world should be able to tune the speed's using the AP. I wouldn't want someone with o...

I've got the AP installed on my car, speed6. I don't have a custom tune right now, but when I am ready I'll be going to Nick at MAC autosport. I've done dyno runs at MAC before with my old SRT-4. Did Nick say if he has experience tuning Speeds or just with the AP in general? It'll be about 6 months...

I will most likely end up getting a standback about the same time I get the exhaust and have it tuned. I've read full turboback is 30hp/40tq. Just a catback I have read doesn't help much but the downpipe and test pipe make a big difference, at least from all I have read. I'm planning on the CP-E ful...

I live in El Paso County (Colorado Springs), so no emissions currently and ran with no cats on my SRT-4 for the past 4 years. I did get one ticket for noise ($50) from a cop who was having a bad day. He didn't even think to look under the car, and the cat on the SRT-4 is not really visible unless yo...

Just bought an 09 Speed3 GT and I'm very happy with it. I think it might have been the last new '09 in the state. It was the same price as the 2010 MS3 Sport they had with the tech package (Push button start with proximity key, mini-nav), but that one didn't have the same options as the GT so no lea...

New to the forum, just bought my first Mazda
Hi all. I live in Colorado Springs and just bought my first Mazda, an '09 Mazdaspeed 3. I'm coming from an '05 SRT-4 which I was extremely happy with. I commute to Denver four times a week so I ran up the miles pretty fast on the SRT-4 and wanted to get something new before hitting 100k miles. I had...
