Picked up a driver side tail light this evening. Only needs the plastic trim between the tail lights now.

Did it do it before you swapped the engine? I didn't remember any issues from before the engine swap. When you did the swap, you used the "new" starter too, right?

Yeah. I even turned off the radio. I could hear it rumble with the windows up and the radio on low. Of course, I knew it was you from 1/2 way down the ramp. Sounds good and of course an attention getter! Glad you enjoy it!

I have found in the past that many cars will click if the connections are bad. Basically, there is enough juice flowing to light everything up and enough to trigger the solenoid, but not the actual starter. Some simple corrosion on a battery terminal can be enough to do that. Saw the Miata this morning. I was behind you in the ugly Toyota van on the off-ramp at Orchard and I-25. You know it isn't a 4 cylinder any more even at idle! Very impressive!

Make sure that you check the battery connections and the cables as well. But yes, the starter solenoid can be an issue.

Decided that the car needs to be sold. Will be going on CL before the end of the week. Last chance before the public gets a chance.

More pics. Engine is so clean you can eat off it. The interior is pretty clean as well. Just one minor crack forming in dash top.
