Yeah, the hood is subtle, but lets you know the stock Miata engine isn't under the hood. ;)

Hood should look good. Not obnoxious, but a subtle hint there is something under the hood.

I sold my 94 back in the early Spring. Looks like the buyer has posted it up for sale again, with new tires, and about $2,000 less than what I sold it for... Also has about 11k extra miles on it now.

I think some of the sc's fit, but clearly not this one. I would try running it all on the street without a hood to start. Obviously make sure everything is in good order before you go onto other "projects". Coming along nicely and good to do it all right the first time around!

I saw either this car or a very similar car a few years back. The one I saw was converted by Monster Miata back in the erly to mid 90's. Unsure this is the same car, but a good possibility. There is some "cool" factor of owning an early original, but not for that price. Agreed it is a big bill to mo...

Monster Miata

I believe I have seen this car in person. It is a nice ride and I believe it was one of the first Monsters. A pretty penny to own it though!

Yeah, I bet the BMW is really well balanced with good powerband. Even though yours has more giddy-up, once moving it is probably a pretty good match with the better handling. Not much you can do with the V8 over the front.

Other thing to maybe take note of is if the car sat for a while. Maybe there is some sort of a flat spot in the tire? I noticed that one of my cars. Took a LONG time to figure it out. Finally swapped out rims with another set we had, and it solved it. In regard to tires, I don't have a real preferen...

Personally, I would hesitate to do any mods and save a bit more $. The only intake that I think is worth the $ is this one: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/17-1017.html I had that same one on my 94. Since it is out of your price range, and I don't think it will fit a turbo, wai...
