Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
No color change at this time. I'm simply replacing the front fender and getting that collision damage repair. Also swapping on a different hood scoop. I just don't have the budget right now for a full color change, quoted as $8-10k

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
I've heard the same thing year after year about cutting the coils. Researching these springs, talking to other folks that have them, it's not uncommon for these to have to cut. In fact, it's pretty normal to have to do so. These are already 1" drop springs, I'm not sure if anything else is made...

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
It's running strong right now, if a bit rich. No stuttering, no shakes, solid overall.

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
The new scoop arrived on Saturday. I'm getting excited to get rolling on the car again. The scoop will look nice. Probably the first thing I'll do when I get it back from the shop will be to install the electric headlight door conversion kit. I've got it, it's been sitting around, and I need to get ...

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
Yes, it'll get painted next month with the rest of the front end. It'll be color matched, not flat black.

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
I ordered the GTE scoop to go with the car. Should be a vast improvement on the hood, as I don't care for the cheap scoop at all.

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar
I'm ordering some stuff for the car and have a question. Keep the current scoop, or swap out for a Cougar "correct" GTE or XR7G scoop? I've measured and thankfully the hole in the hood won't interfere with a different scoop.

Wow, crazy you don't have a lick of snow there. I have about 3" or so at my house.

Re: 1998 Volvo V70 AWD
Oof, man, that was a pretty car. I love Saffron on the wagons. That and the cream yellow 850R (T5-R) are probably my favorite Volvos. My father in law's friend that works at Martin Truex Jrs race shop here in Denver has a yellow 850 T5-R sedan that needs work, although i don't know what kind of work...

I have the car scheduled for the collision repair the first week of Feb. At least that will be fixed to start the spring.

Re: The new Taco
I'm bored, and waiting for a meeting to start, so I figured I'd review the "mods" for the Tacoma. Fumoto Drain Valve Installed, but no oil change with it installed. No leaks, so that's good. WeatherTech Digitial Fit liners (with TRD Sport gel decals) Love WeatherTechs and will always get t...

Re: The new Taco
20k on the Taco now. It's practically a high mileage vehicle now. To celebrate the achievement, I bought a center console organizer thingy. The truck almost has the same amount of miles on it as my wife's Jeep, which is strange as her's is the more comfy cruiser. I guess I should just start driving ...

Re: Oil and Gas Development
Oh, we won’t be moving. Regardless of O&G, this area will be 100% developed soon. Chase data center, a new IKEA, outlets, Amazon fulfillment center. Part of the MOU, to limit the amount of wells, Broomfield gave away a significant amount of their royalty to any mineral rights they owned. The pri...
