This is a normal problem that has been attributed to a crankshaft position sensor or direct ignition in Saabs.

I have always had my Saabs fixed for free for out of warranty TSBs. They usually only nix the idea if you have a huge amount of mileage on the vehicle. I would call the US Customer Service rep. to pre-arrange the TSB fix. A TSB that came out under warranty should be covered by them since they didn't...
