Only thing i need to iron out now is the cold starts when the water and air temps are ambient. Once the car is warmed up the idle is fine but at cold engine temps the car has a hard time staying running.

LOTS of progress with my FC! I got the idle down finally and got a good street tune on the car. Got the idle down to 1,000-1,100 rpm which is good enough for me knowing that the motor is ported very aggressive. My light switch dash harness was getting really hot and blowing my ILLUM fuse and when I ...

With the dongle I have the ability to save your current map, tweak it, and if you don't like the adjustments you can always flash back to the original map in seconds.

I have the microtech serial port dongle that can hold up to 4 memcals (maps). This goes between the ecu and the serial cable to the laptop. I also have a laptop suited for tuning specifically.

I'm in 2BCT. I work at the 2-8 Infantry motorpool and the 2STB motorpool. I'm a platoon sergeant for the wheels section of Maintenance Task Force. Soon as I get my car back from getting painted we will have to meet up since we work on the same road! Do you have experience with Microtech? Maybe you c...

Boosted12a, do you work on Fort Carson at one of the motorpools on Minick? I think I saw this car parked outside while I was running this morning. Do you still have the white SA wheels on the car? That was how I noticed it from this thread!

He's from Castle Rock and I did tell him to stay in contact. I told him I'd be getting an FC soon and that once I did I would be looking to go to a few meets.

The car went to Texas and was in the care of my brother while I deployed to Afghanistan. I returned in December but wasn't able to go pick the car back up until last weekend.

The coolant has been replaced. Changing the oil and filter tomorrow. The stock air box has a nipple broken off from the top rear that goes to a hose. I'd just rather have the aftermarket intake in case I decide to keep it. Anyone have any fender liners that mount under the front wheel wells??

Yup. I have it listed there as well. Looking to step down to a S5 TII. The FD is just too expensive for me to keep. I know the FC in and out and parts are much cheaper.

Can't verify that the PFC is in stock at RX7.com but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call. Your best bet, like speedjunkie said, is to buy a used one. They are fairly cheap. You can still purchase the datalogit from them though. I'm running the Power FC and I plan to pick up the datalogit soon.
