Agreed. Most are NA's. A couple NB's and I don't see any NC's post. Nice to see something a bit different!

Personally, I always start with air pressure. Check the lug nuts, etc. Once all the simple stuff is narrowed down, then alignment and so forth.

Nice looking car. The wheels look like they are Protege wheels or something. I don't believe they are Miata as the 99+ came with a 15" but in a different design. See link for Miata wheel info:

Alternator isn't a big deal to change. If you have AC/PS then you have to remove that belt first, then the alt/wp belt. 1 plug and 1 bolt on wire to remove (disconnect battery first). Also 2 bolts to pull the alternator out. This also requires the air intake tube coming out first, which often requir...

Don't blame you. I have a DD as well, but it has been sitting more lately. Getting the other vehicles out some with the nicer weather. The little pos will see daily use again soon, and gets driven all winter.

Still a respectable time for the car. A bit of tuning, some gears, and some practice, I bet you can bring that down. As stated, the gears will help, even on for autocross.

Glad it still runs like a top for you! They are super reliable cars. Simple too. I am surprised that you only put 23k in 18 months. Figured it would have been more. Driving the Mustang more, huh? ;)

I was just wondering. I have been looking at how other cars compare, and wondered what to expect when I eventually do my V8 swap (someday, someway). I still have the b6t swap to do into my Festiva. That is supposed to run a mid-14 without any other mods except tires. With some minor mods, I guess it...

Have you gotten a 1/4 mile time on the car yet? Just curious where it comes in.

I would say rollbar if you don't mind having the soft top year round. Unless there is a specific NEED for a hardtop, then I would skip it. Only times it is nice is in traffic with top up for visibility out the rear window, and for racing purposes for aerodynamics. Otherwise, soft top is the way to go.
