What engine is that? I almost bought a '95 model in the UK.

It has the KL-ZE. I also have a spare running KL01 and a spare KL01 block heads, cams and intake.

Finding a quality mechanic at Firestone, grease monkey, or brakre r us, is like trying to find a 5 star chef at McDonalds, Burger King, or Toco Bell.

A bummer story for sure, but not uncommon.

Performing a rough alignment in the garage

I just replaced my rack and pinion bellows along with the tie-rod ends. Can anyone give me some tips on doing a rough alignment? I know I will need to get it into a shop for a good one, but I would like to drive it there instead of tow it. What are your thoughts?

I've had good luck in snow with the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 and the Pirelli P6. I've heard the Yokohama H4S is also a good choice. Blizzaks are great if you want a dedicated snow tire that won't be totally mushy on dry pavement, but that comes at a hefty price. That about covers it, the Blizzaks ...

My first Mazda was an 86 626 LX. Great first car. Among many other things, I loved that the center vents would oscilate. I have never seen that on any other car.
