Several years ago, there was a similar video of cars sliding down a road in the snow/ice. It looks like the same street.

Here it is:

Lame. I knew a guy in Wichita that put a set of rally mud flaps on his Focus. While they looked kinda cool (but not really....) it's still a front wheel drive that primarily drives on paved roads. Apparently, I changed my mind on these. I posted this back in 2008 and I bought a set of the Rally Arm...

I just dropped $1500 (well $1485) on the transfer case on my Explorer. The rear output seal was leaking. I tried to do it myself but I couldn't get the nut holding the output flange off. I took it to All American 4x4 on Sante Fe in HR. Turns out the bearing had scored the bearing raceway and resulte...

Don't worry about class right now. Just get out there and get seat time. No matter what class you start in, you won't be competitive until you get seat time. And don't get discouraged if you get smoked by what you think is a lesser car. Autoxing is way more about the driver than it is the car. Ideal...

I will say, however, Sunday nights? Opposite Sunday Night Football? I guess they figure car guys don't watch football. It would be interesting to know of those that have cable/sat (and therefore CAN watch TGUS on a TV) also have a DVR. I mean, who watches football live anymore? I guess those at the...

I can't wait to try out these bad boys in the snow: http://www.mazdas247.com/members/Tom03es/new%20BFGs%20(4).JPG They have the snowflake symbol on them so they should work quite well in the snow. Plus I can run them year round. And not to mention, they work very well offroad. They aren't too bad on...

If you print the plate or get one of those fiberglass replica plates, I wouldn't mount it to the front bumper- just put it on the dash on the windshield. That way they can't touch it and find out that it's not a real metal plate. Has anyone ever been hassled for having their front plate up there? He...

I just did a pan drop, filter change and replaced 4 qts on my 1997 Explorer auto transmission. The magnet in the bottom of the pan didn't look nearly as bad as the magnet in the bottom of my Protege pan with half the miles. I'm only assuming the transmission fluid was original (118,000 miles) in my ...

Blue Book is $5215 + the extras I'm throwing in. $5000 is my bottom line. I can sell it to Car Max in Co Springs for more than $3000.

Patrick, are you taking the review course at CU-Denver? I have a buddy that teaches the engineering economics section. It seems those that don't take the review, don't do as well on the PE. One day I might take it, but right now it would do nothing for me if I had it. PM me (I'm not on this forum mu...

That's awesome that you're getting out to the track Andrew. It's so much fun- kind of expensive though. I hope to get back into it someday. I know I will, it just might be awhile. Track only pads and tires are a fantastic way to go- expensive though. The braking power with those will absolutely blow...

You can see some editing goofs on the Top Gear crew's part in that episode. Jeremy rolled the Robin and ripped off the mirror in one scene but it was back in the next shot and then gone again. Funny episode though.
