How long do you let your car warm up during the winter? I've noticed long idle to warm up the car in cold weather does affect my mileage quite a bit.

The other culprit would be ethanol. But I am not sure if they increase its dosage during the cold months.

What drive me nuts are people who drive older Buick or Cadillac.
It seems like they all come with 35mph speed governor and stuck turn signals.

My 92' Protege and 94' Miata gave me plenty of battery problems. I wonder if it's the battery itself, because even aftemarket batteries (Westco brand) failed me. On the other hand, I am amazed that my 7 year old Acura with its stock battery has yet to fail me, even under treaterous temperatures. Kno...
